Cross-party Brexiteers unite for ‘Chuck Chequers’ rallies

Politicians from across the political spectrum will be uniting for a series of UK wide mass rallies protesting the Prime Minister’s Chequers plan.

Former Cabinet Ministers David Davis MP, Owen Paterson MP and David Jones MP, Jacob Rees-Mogg MP, Nigel Farage MEP and Kate Hoey MP are just some of the names confirmed for the Leave Means Leave rallies.

The rallies kick off next Saturday (22nd September) in Bolton, where former Brexit Secretary David Davis, Nigel Farage MEP and Kate Hoey MP (Labour) will take the campaigns message to thousands of people in the University of Bolton Stadium, for the nearly sold out event.

On Sunday 30th September, the campaign heads to Birmingham during Conservative Party conference where Tory MPs Peter Bone and Andrea Jenkyns will join Nigel Farage and Cllr Brendan Chilton of Labour Leave.

The tour will then continue on to Torquay, Bournemouth, Gateshead and Harrogate.

Speaking ahead of the rallies, Richard Tice, Vice Chairman of Leave Means Leave said:

“Leave Means Leave will be travelling across the country to make the case that the Prime Minister should chuck the Chequers plan and save £39 billion by adopting a World Trade Deal.

“The cross-party nature of the campaign proves how important this battle is.

“Party politics has been put to one side to secure what is best for Britain’s future.”
