In response to claims that the BBC has no duty to be balanced over Brexit, Peter Bone MP, Board Member of Leave Means Leave said:

“The State broadcaster is required to be impartial, yet post-referendum coverage on the BBC has been overwhelmingly anti-Brexit.

“It is widely accepted that the BBC is institutionally biased and this latest revelation is evidence that the Corporation has no intention of trying to abide by rules on impartiality.

“They are effectively admitting to being a cheerleader for the EU.

“The BBC should remember that it is hardworking British people who fund it – not Brussels.

“There must be an urgent investigation into the future of the BBC and the funding mechanism.

“The current situation cannot continue – it is not fair to those forced to fund pro-EU propaganda.”
