Commenting on Boris Johnson’s Brexit speech, Richard Tice, Co-Chair of Leave Means Leave said:
“We welcome the optimistic vision of Brexit that Boris set out today.
“This is the positive tone the British public have been waiting for the Government to deliver.
“The opportunities outside of the EU are immense – in terms of trade and the economy as well as by taking back control of our laws, borders and money. To achieve this, the Government must not allow us to be handcuffed to EU regulations and bureaucracy after we leave in March 2019.
“Boris is right to reassure those who have reservations about Brexit. The Government must continue to talk about how Britain can thrive outside of the EU to increase optimism and understanding about Brexit and how leaving the EU will benefit Britain.”
