Responding to Jacob Rees-Mogg MP’s speech, Richard Tice, Co-Chair of Leave Means Leave said:

“Jacob is absolutely right – the EU have been in control of Brexit negotiations and this must change.

“For too long the Government have failed to fight for the Brexit the British people voted for.

“More must be done to embrace the economic opportunities leaving the EU offers the UK.

“The tone must change immediately.

“The British people do not want to hear any more about remaining a European style economy, continuing a customs union with the EU or aligning our regulation with that of Brussels after we leave.

“It is time to accelerate negotiations and start pursuing what is best for Britain.”
