Commenting on the High Court ruling on Article 50, Rt Hon Owen Paterson MP of Leave Means Leave said:
“On June 23rd the British people made it clear that they voted for us to make our own laws in our own Parliament – to take back control of our borders, of our laws and our finances.
“Should there be a vote in Parliament on Article 50 or on the Great Repeal Bill, both MPs and Lords must deliver on the largest democratic exercise in British politics which saw the biggest majority in the history of our country.
“The political establishment have no option but to see that the democratic will of the people is granted.”
